Privacy Policy
What we collect when you use Loudpage, why, who helps us process it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal data.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record, is a separate controller for the payment and billing information it collects when you buy. Its use of that information is covered by Paddle's privacy notice.

2. What we collect
- Account data: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture as provided by Google. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, Clerk.
- Project data: the website address you submit; the public text, images, colours, fonts and logo we read from that site; the script, pronunciation and facts you confirm; voiceover audio; music you choose or upload; the videos and files we generate; and the changes you ask for.
- Purchase data: from Paddle we receive what you bought, when, the amount and currency, your country, and Paddle's order and subscription references. We do not receive or store your full card details.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, and events in the studio (for example, that a preview was played or a download started).
- Messages: what you send through the contact form or by email.
We do not ask for sensitive personal data, and we ask you not to include it in projects.
3. How we use it, and why
- To provide the Service you ask for: building previews and videos, delivering downloads, and giving you support (necessary to perform our contract with you).
- To prevent abuse of the free preview and keep the Service secure: we use your email address, IP address and network to limit free previews per person and detect fraud (our legitimate interests, and yours, in a fair and secure service).
- To manage purchases and credits, and to keep business and tax records (contract and legal obligation).
- To send service messages: that your preview or video is ready, reminders about an unpurchased preview, and important changes to our terms (contract and legitimate interests). You can opt out of reminders at any time.
- To understand and improve the Service: aggregated usage and product analytics (legitimate interests). Where the law requires consent for analytics cookies, we ask first.
We do not sell your personal data, share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, or use your content to train artificial intelligence models.
4. Automated processing and AI
To make your video, we send project data (public text from your site, the script, pronunciations and design instructions) to AI providers that act as our processors: Anthropic, which writes the script and designs the scenes, and ElevenLabs, which records the voiceover and can generate music. They process it to return results to us under their commercial terms.
This processing creates content; it does not make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
6. International transfers
We are based in India, and our providers process data in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. Where the law requires it, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep it
- Account and project data: while your account is open, so you can return to your videos. Unpurchased previews stop being viewable after 7 days.
- After you close your account or ask us to delete a project: we delete it within 30 days, except where we must keep something longer by law. Backups are overwritten within a further 30 days.
- Purchase records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires, generally up to 8 years.
- Security and fraud-prevention records (such as IP addresses used for free previews): up to 12 months.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data;
- restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where we rely on it, without affecting earlier processing;
- nominate someone to exercise your rights if you die or become incapacitated (India).
Email [privacy@yourdomain.com] from the address on your account. We reply within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
You can also complain to a data protection authority: in India, the Data Protection Board of India; in the EU or UK, your local supervisory authority. We would appreciate the chance to help first.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not use sensitive personal information. You have the rights to know, delete and correct described above.
10. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, signed short-lived download links, and providers with strong security practices. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
11. Children
The Service is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact [privacy@yourdomain.com] and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes here with a new effective date, and email account holders about material changes before they take effect.
